HDA Architects’ Completion of Adams Beverage

HDA Architects has completed construction on Adams Beverages's new 72,000 SF facility in Opelika, Alabama.

HDA was proud to be a part of this successful project. Clay Adams wanted a new building with today’s technology but the charm of an old AB Brewery. HDA accepted the challenge and designed a stunning red brick and stone office with majestic windows framed to mimic a 1900’s warehouse. The addition of individual window awnings and a radius entrance canopy polish off the exterior design. An outdoor courtyard is tucked privately between the warehouse and the Hospitality Room, inviting guests to pour out of the building and onto the patio that features ivy climbing trellises and a cozy fire pit.  Inside, you will find red brick creeping in, matched with stained concrete floors, reclaimed barn wood accents walls and high exposed ceilings. The bar is welcoming with a sealed concrete top and cast iron trim. The warehouse is clean and bright white with vertical docks, a drive-in loading area, and a keg cooler.

HDA Architects has worked over 150 Beverage Wholesalers Nationwide on New Facilities, Expansions, Renovations, Operational and Material Handling Needs.
