Meet the team

Our talented staff and experienced leadership provide an unparalleled level of service.

President
Jack began his architectural career in 1972. Early on, he learned the importance of being accountable for the design, schedule and construction budget of a project. His ability to effectively coordinate each aspect of a project helped mold him into the leader he is today.

 

Jack teamed up with Mark to establish HDA Architects in 1986 and is responsible for providing leadership, direction and management for all aspects of the firm.

Project Executive
Andrew Sitton has more than 20 years of project experience ranging from distribution and cold storage warehousing, corporate office buildings, retail, hospitality, to multi-family and residential.

 

He has worked at HDA as Project Executive for 13 years serving as a lead member in the design-build approach. Internally he supervises a variety of projects, providing overall quality assurance and control where creativity and forward thinking drive his daily routine.

Interior Designer
With over 10 years of experience in the industry, Kim is the lead interior designer at HDA Architects. Her knowledge of interior programming, space planning, design and finishes are key values when helping our clients turn their vision into a reality.

 

Kim has a bachelor of fine arts with an emphasis in interior design from Maryville University.

When not at work, Kim enjoys photography, drawing, painting and spending time with her family.

 

Project Manager
Tom joined HDA in 2001 as a Project Architect. His coordination skills and attention to detail ascended him to the role of Project Manager. Tom has worked on a variety of projects including Auto Dealerships, Office Buildings and Breweries.

 

In his 13 years with HDA, he has contributed in many ways to the success of the company. Tom organized every aspect of HDA’S office relocation and has also been a leader in the ways of advancing technology.

Architectural Technician
Kevin graduated with his Masters of Architecture in 2011 from the University of Kansas.  For the first two and a half years of his young professional career, he worked in the residential field of architecture, until joining HDA in the summer of 2013.

 

 

Kevin now leads the firm's BIM efforts and assists with design work and the development of technical drawings.

Administrative Assistant
Judi joined HDA Architects in 2002 and is the first smiling face you see when you walk in our door. She is in charge of overall office organization, event planning and client hospitality.

 

 

 

 

 

Vice President
Patrick has over thirteen years of experience in Business Development and Marketing. As Vice President at HDA Architects, he is responsible for developing new business relationships and increasing brand awareness.

 

He majored in Business Administration and earned a double minor in Psychology and Marketing.

Senior Designer
Kyle joined as an intern in 2004 and has filled many roles at HDA. As Senior Designer, he creates solutions for clients and coordinates with the project team. As a part of the Senior Leadership, he manages technology and is involved in financial oversight.

 

Kyle has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kansas and an MBA from Webster University, and is a Registered Architect in several states including Missouri and California.

Interior Designer
Lauryn is the newest addition to HDA Architects, beginning in July of 2016. She has been hired in response to a continuous increase in customer demands for HDA interior designs. Lauryn graduated from Maryville University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. She is looking forward to applying her knowledge of interior planning and design to meet our client’s needs. Lauryn is currently working towards becoming a LEED accredited professional. In her spare time, Lauryn enjoys all things outdoors, traveling, and live music.
Project Manager
Jerry began his architectural career at a large design-build firm where he learned his work ethic, dedication, teamwork and listening skills.

 

Jerry joined HDA Architects in 2005, where he utilizes these refined skills as a Project Manager every day to guide each project to completion with each client and other team members.

 

 

 

Designer
Leah graduated with a Master's Degree in Architecture from K-State University and began her career with HDA in 2013. She is working towards becoming a licensed architect; and became a LEED Accredited Professional in 2014.

 

She works closely with the design team to develop project ideas, make material selections, and create 3D representations of the design through advanced software. She also assists project managers through every phase of a project.

Project Manager
Josh began his career at a large A/E firm where he gained knowledge of many aspects of architecture and construction. In 2004, he joined HDA.

 

As a Project Manager, Josh manages projects of varying sizes and complexities in St Louis and nationwide. He uses his knowledge and skills to make each project a success.

 

Josh is a graduate of SIUC, Licensed Architect & LEED AP BD+C.

Project Designer
Tyson joined HDA Architects in 2014 after spending 8 years in Chicago as a Project Designer and Project Architect for multiple mixed-use, multifamily, and retail projects. He brings a heightened awareness of design, visualization and communication in conjunction with a focus on the needs of the client to deliver inspiring, responsive designs.

His collaborative spirit and leadership make him an invaluable asset to HDA.

 

Architectural Designer
As an Architectural Designer, Ken blends the use of sketches, renderings and animation to allow the designer and the client to work together in the understanding of how materials, texture, form, and shadows create a striking appearance that meets the client’s needs and vision.

 

With over 14 years with HDA Architects, Ken works throughout the entire design process from initial concepts to final execution and material selection. He is also a LEED AP BD+C accredited professional.

Associate
David received Master degrees in Architecture and Construction Management from Wash U and soon began his career at a large design/build firm. There he learned the discipline of creating highly detailed construction documents and details.

After spending five years in the commercial sector, he moved on to the residential arena where he gained valuable experience estimating and scheduling single-family developments.
He returned to the commercial sector to join HDA in 2008.

Accounting Manager
Kathy joined the firm in 2005 as our Accounting Manager with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

 

In addition to her main priority of handling the business financial records for the company, she is also responsible for employee records/benefits, and overall office management.
